Andrew Shapiro
Andrew has been in the banking industry for over 30 years, including 22 years at BNP Paribas. Prior to founding Applied Risk Capital, Andrew held senior leadership positions as Global Head of Loan Syndications, Americas head of Workout, and Americas Head of Loan and Bond Origination.
Prior to these managerial roles, Andrew worked for several years as a loan syndicator, a restructuring banker, a senior credit officer and a distressed debt trader.
In aggregate, Andrew has more than 10-years of senior banker experience in each of the three main pillars of lending - loan origination, loan distribution and loan restructuring.
In conjunction with his various origination roles, Andrew also has extensive experience managing loan portfolios. Andrew earned his M.B.A from New York University and B.A. from the University of Rochester.
